Green Reiner I, Green Reiner II, and Green Horse Qualifications*:
NRHA
Rookie I and Rookie II Qualifications: (see 2009 NRHA Handbook)
- ROOKIE
I: A rider may compete in Rookie I competition if they have not
earned in excess of $200 NRHA lifetime
earnings at the start of the NRHA year or earned more than 50 points
in NRHA sanctioned Youth competition (excluding points earned in
the Youth 10 & Under Short Stirrup division). Rider must have
completed the NRHA Non Pro approval process and possess an NRHA
Non Pro card. Rookie I riders may use a horse without the restrictions
of ownership and are eligible for Rookie II competition. Horses
are to be shown one handed. Rookie Reining I & II classes will
run concurrently.
- ROOKIE
II: A rider may compete in Rookie II competition if they have not
earned in excess of $500 NRHA lifetime
earnings at the start of the NRHA year or earned more than 100 points
in NRHA sanctioned Youth competition (excluding points earned in
the Youth 10 & Under Short Stirrup division). Rider must have
completed the NRHA Non Pro approval process and possess an NRHA
Non Pro card. Rookie II riders may use a horse without the restrictions
of ownership. Horses are to be shown one handed. Rookie Reining
I & II classes will run concurrently
